- Hairbrush
- Hair spray

How to Do A Pull-Through Braid
It is important to know how to do a basic one before you try the unique one. A pull-through braid is made by pulling small ponytails through each other.
The steps to create a basic pull-through braid are quite simple if you are familiar with basic hair braiding.
Here are the steps to create a pull-through braid:
- Create a simple ponytail at the back of your head and divide it into two separate sections. You’ll work with these two sections to create the braid.
- Take a small section of hair from the outside of the first section and cross it over to the inside of the second section. Take a small section from the outside of the second section and cross it over to the inside of the first section. Alternate the sections and continue this process.
- As you add more sections to the braid, use small, clear elastic bands to secure the sections together. Gently pull at the sides of the braid to puff it out.
- Repeat the process of crossing over sections, securing with bands, and puffing out the braid until you reach the ends of your hair.
- Adjust the tightness by simply pulling at the sections until you’re happy with the look.
Create A Pull-Through Braid Variation Combined with Regular Braid
Now you know about basic pull-through braid. It’s time to do something unique on your daughter’s hair.
The initial steps for creating a pull-through and regular braid combo are almost similar to creating a basic one.
Take up all the hair in a ponytail and secure it using a rubber band. After that, cover the rubber band with a piece of hair. Wrap it around and continue with the next step.
Take a little piece of the ponytail, leave it aside, and divide the rest of the hair into two parts. Tie the top part with a rubber band, pull the rubber band a little down, divide it in half, and pull the bottom part inside the hole.
Again, leave a small piece, tie the top part with a rubber band, and pull the bottom hair section through the middle. Repeat the same procedure until you reach the end of the hair.
Now you have small pieces of hair in the middle of the ponytail. Take those pieces and start creating a regular braid starting on the top and adding a little hair from both sides on every step. Repeat the same procedure until you reach the end of the ponytail.
Now put a bow clip on the bottom or tie a bow from a satin ribbon and you have successfully created a unique pull-through braid on your little girl’s hair.
